Improve Your Content in 90 Days or Less

Published 14 days ago • 2 min read

I recently hit 600k impressions in last 90 days and gained 1k followers Twitter.

I didn't use engagement groups or paid retweets.

Just a few strategies that helped my posts reach more people and kept them interested enough to follow.

Even Justin Welsh, the solopreneur GOAT, followed and sent me a DM.

If you really want increase your reach here are the 6 key strategies I used to improve my content in the last 90 days:

Planned my Content

This is where it all starts.

I took time to organize my ideas and figured out exactly what I wanted to write.

Planning helps my post be more effective.

It's like having a blueprint to the building I want to build.

This helps my content flow better and keeps my audience interested.

Asked Questions

Asking questions in your writing is a great way to get the audience involved.

It makes them think and interact with your content.

I like that with these questions I can sometimes create a conversational tone, making my followers think deeper about the topics.

This also gives me a chance to engage my readers on a deeper level.

Used Storytelling

Now I have to be honest: I don't do a lot of storytelling.

I am learning to do more because I know it can make your writing much more interesting.

It helps connect your readers emotionally with your message.

When you become good at storytelling, you can draw your readers into the topic, making it memorable and impactful.

Good stories keep readers coming back to learn more.

Provided Value in my Content

Your content should always provide value, whether it's educational, inspiring, or entertaining.

Providing value builds trust and establishes you as a credible writer.

If you can't find a way to make your posts one of the 3 types above then you will constantly get ignored and have low engagement.

Content that offers value is also more likely to be shared, increasing your visibility and influence.

Being Clear

I see way too many people trying to be clever.

They end up confusing the reader or it goes over their head.

Being clear is very important.

I focus on making my message clear to understand.

When I do this, it's easier to to communicate complicated ideas.

Engaged with my Audience

When it comes to my audience I do more than just comment; it involves creating content that speaks directly to their interests and needs.

I do this by including elements they can relate to.

I also share experiences from your own life that resonate with theirs.

This helps make your content more personal and relatable.

Regularly interacting gives me feedback, allowing you to tailor your content to better meet the needs of your readers.

Use these strategies to improve your content.

Explore each of them and use them create powerful content that resonates with your audience.

Do this and you will grow much faster than you think.

Til next week,

Ken
